We are looking for motivated people with an innovative mind-set to join us on our journeyPosition SummarySupply Chain Advisor is a strategic role at Infineum being the Supply Chain’s ambassador at key accounts, responsible to identify and anticipate customer needs, developing solutions for delivering tailored services, products and support in line with the account strategy, working jointly with commercial and operational functions, and maintaining external focus and third parties interfaces.Key focus for the role is delivering COGS reduction through optimization in the value chain improving supply reliability to enhance Customer Experience and create mutual value for Infineum and Customers.The Supply Chain Advisor offers a sound opportunity to high potential, driven candidates to learn about Infineum operations and customers, develop dependable knowledge and skills, champion Infineum high performing safety culture, and ultimately prepare for future opportunities across the whole Infineum organization.What can we expect from you?• Report into Infineum Global Supply Chain and Planning organization and be embedded within Infineum’s operational and business function• Work directly with key customer accounts, with Infineum commercial functions as Sales and Procurement, and operational interfaces such as Supply Chain and Planning, Manufacturing, Technology, and with Third Party Service Providers• Collaborate with the Sales Team to support freight negotiations and the development of a detailed understanding of customer needs and work to deliver Infineum service offering considering accounts’ logistical and operational requirements as well as the commercial strategy• Optimize the Infineum end to end supply chain network with knowledge of the wider market outlook, creating a win-win solution for both Infineum and customers, including product storage, transportation, smooth implementation of product commercialization and de-commercialization and the safe product handling• Develop strategies and operating models that integrate Infineum into customer supply chains, innovating and implementing identified best practices to customer operations and processes• Identify and implement value mapping studies/value creation opportunities at key accounts such as targeting COGS reduction and sustainability improvement• Contributes to transformational activities including innovation and digitalisation initiatives within the Infineum global supply chain network and with Customers.• Support the Infineum Distribution Operation Integrity Management System to manage and continuously improve our high performing safety culture in our distribution network and with our customers• Support respective account managers to provide accurate short-term sales forecast as part of the Sales&Operations planning process.• Develop and lead Supplier Performance, and Operational Review with customers• Leverage collaboration opportunities with the Supply Chain Advisor Network across regions for global consistency and approach in addressing customer optimization initiatives and projects adopting standardized Customer Centric practices.What skills will you gain from this role?• Learn about Infineum’s business, Supply footprint, global supply operations and processes• Understand Infineum product portfolio, customers and broader transportation market place• Exposure to all key Infineum functions and to multiple levels in the organization• Gain exposure to commercial and external customer interfaces• Develop and demonstrate influencing skills: persuasive and inclusive communication, leadership presence, customer relationship management• Learn and demonstrate change and risk management skills• Learn and demonstrate external focus• Regional and global project managementA successful candidate is likely to have:• Chemical Engineering or Supply Chain Degree; 3 – 5 years relevant experience. Experience in customer facing role and / or supply is preferred• Strong analytical, planning, organizing, and multi-tasking skills• Customer focus• Digital dexterity and innate curiosity to learn and pilot new initiatives• Desire to make a positive and tangible impact on Infineum business; ambition to grow their career across the Infineum organization• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities• Strong demonstration of successful teamwork/collaboration and ability to work across all functions and regions to achieve customer and team objectives• Strong ownership and accountability
