Regulatory Specialist 4034

Our client, an established/growing E & P Operating company has engaged us to find an excellect Regulatory Specialist with at least 5 years' experience in compliance/reporting and permitting either wells or production operations with offshore Gulf of Mexico oil and gas operations.The company has an upbeat vibe, respects and recongizes their people's contributions, pays well with base, cash bonus and LTI programs along with excellent employer paid benefits.Ideal experience/qualifications for success include:5 or more years' experience working for an operating oil and gas or specialty regulatory consulting firmOil and gas well permitting and or production operations permitting/reporting to BSEE, USCG and other relevant regulatory agencies.Ideal experience would cover both well permitting and production operations, but either area is fine to be consideredExperience with BSEE's TimsWeb and or eWell software platform is requiredExcellent relationship building experience/skills with people both in company and with external contacts at the regulators4 year College Degree is preferredProficiency in Excel and SharePointU.S. Citizenship or Green Card/Permanent Resident status is requiredPrefer candidates living in Houston, but open to relocation assistance to a highly qualified candidate
