Senior DoD Financial Management Strategy Program Analyst

cBEYONData is seeking a Senior DoD Financial Management Strategy Program Analyst to support our federal customer's multi-domain technology platform which offers military and business decision makers, analysts, and users at all levels unprecedented access to authoritative enterprise data and structured analytics in a scalable, reliable, and secure environment.
Responsibilities :
Apply knowledge of financial management, accounting, and financial systems as part of a team providing business transformation and operational support to the Department of Defense (DoD) and Component clients
Collect and analyze DoD organizations’ financial and budgetary transactions and business processes
Review and evaluate operational financial management cycles to identify process gaps and provide both qualitative and quantitative recommendations for improvements
Analyze financial transactions data and develop recommendations related to strategic goals and initiatives to be presented to client leadership
Provide guidance and assistance to initiative teams while performing business process improvement tasks and delivering products that will be utilized to advise senior client leadership in the preparation, tracking and achieving of financial performance metrics
Work in a collaborative team environment and interact with internal teams as well as executive stakeholders on a regular basis to accomplish project objectives
Act as functional lead and develop and validate FM approaches on specific initiatives to ensure all aspects are coordinated, including meetings, action items, and continuity of follow-up
Requirements :
8+ years of experience interpreting financial reports, performing financial statement analysis, and providing recommendations
5+ years of experience with full procure to pay cycle to include obligations/entitlement and expenditures
Operating knowledge of Procurement Data Standards schemas i.e., Mechanization of Contract Administration Services (MOCAS), Defense Cash Accountability System (DCAS)
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Experience in developing and implementing Financial Management strategies and approaches
Experience creating, and presenting PowerPoint presentations and facilitating meetings to senior executives
Ability to go on-site 1x per week in the National Capital Region
Secret clearance
BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience using data visualization tools; Qlik, Power BI or Tableau
Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) Certification
