Join our world-class team today!Position Specific DescriptionOur Engineering, Construction & Supply Chain Business Unit is seeking an Associate Sourcing Specialist to join their team in Juno Beach, FL. This is a senior professional position responsible for executing the sourcing and logistical process for materials in support of our Engineering & Construction business unit. The selected candidate will manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are on track and delivered to support project milestones. In this position, you will develop negotiation skills and commercial acumen, as well as a greater understanding of how NextEra Energy delivers value to their customers. The candidate will also manage end-to-end logistics procedures pertaining to E&C storage locations and supporting functions, including capital expenditure forecasting, management, and tracking.
Previous sourcing and inventory management experience are strongly preferred.Job Overview

Executes the sourcing process for assigned areasInteracts with assigned operating business units, legal experts, and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) personnelInteracts with the supplier community and industry analystsAnalyzes responses to simple bid requests, including distilling commercial differences and making recommendations for supplier selection for contract awardsConducts simple negotiations successfully and executes purchase ordersParticipates on sourcing project teamsCommunicates progress and results to supervision and ISC managementPerforms other job-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
