Join our world-class team today!Position Specific DescriptionOur Engineering, Construction & Supply Chain Business Unit is seeking a Senior Procurement Associate to join their team in Juno Beach, FL. This is a senior professional position that will be responsible for executing the sourcing process for materials in support of our Power Delivery business unit. With little or no management oversight, the selected candidate for this role will manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are on track and delivered to support project milestones. In this position you will develop both negotiation skills and commercial acumen as well as a greater understanding of how NextEra Energy delivers value to their customers. Previous sourcing, supply chain management or contract management experiences are strongly preferred.Job Overview
This role executes the Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order (PR to PO) process and manages order fulfillment. Employees in this role would be expected to lead Requests For Proposal (RFPs), negotiations, and purchase document execution. Employees in this role will interact regularly with suppliers and address common supply chain issues. This role supports team initiatives and assists in data collection for stakeholders.Job Duties & Responsibilities
Executes PR to PO processes and manages order fulfillmentLeads execution of RFPs and negotiationsInteracts with suppliers and handles routine supplier questionsInteracts with BU stakeholders around BU needs and specificationsAddresses common supply chain issues and discrepanciesAnalyzes supplier performance on smaller scale purchasesPerforms other job-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
