Outside Sales Specialist

to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing sales coverage and developing the best possible market penetration for all products and services to existing and prospective accounts in a territory covering parts of southern Florida.Responsibilities:Manage the assigned territory with a progressive sales approachPromote the full range of company products and services, including precision gaging, capital equipment, calibration, inspection, and repair services.Develop and own the annual territory sales plan, collaborating with the applicable business managers and the VP of sales in the Southeast region.Employ a consultative sales approachGenerate new sales revenue (from both new and existing accounts)Maximize upselling or cross-selling opportunities in existing accountsProspect and identify opportunities in specific industries/market segments and develop relationships to convert into new businessEffectively manage sales pipeline and forecasting using the Company’s CRM softwareSignificant travel throughout the territory and occasional overnight staysMinimum Requirements:3+ years of sales experience in an industrial environmentProven track record of meeting sales goalsUnderstanding of capital equipment, manufacturing and engineering processesSome experience with precision metrology preferredMust be self-motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic, and driven by targets and compensationExcellent interpersonal relationship skillsExcellent communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-personAbility to interact consultatively with customers, determine needs and develop appropriate solutionsGood computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office productsProficient with Customer Relationship Management software (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.)Compensation:Compensation includes a base salary and aggressive commission structure.Company provided laptop and phone, vehicle and gas allowance, and expense reimbursement.Complete benefits program includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability coverages, and 401K plan through Fidelity with up to a 4% company match.
