The Sr. Account Manager position is a customer interfacing member of the Cooper sales team, which will require effective collaboration to achieve yearly objectives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Within a geographic area responsible for selling Reciprocating product(s), services, and partsInteract with customers (current & new) to understand their business needs and goalsCommunicate new Cooper innovations & technology solutions to address customer operational issuesDefine sales strategy for targeted clientsCooperate with (technical) sales support to realize salesTravel ~60% of the time through assigned area as requiredRequired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferredMinimum Trade School or Military background with at least 10 years of experience in SalesMinimum 10 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience with a focus in sales originationHave knowledge of oilfield, production facilities, and compression operationsAbility to develop strong interpersonal relationships with customersReciprocating compressor and engine experienceResults driven Leadership philosophy that utilizes an empowerment style to achieve innovative, continuous, and measurable resultsDemonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)Commitment to safety, customer service quality and to work in team-oriented environmentPrior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-taskCommitment to customer service and ability to work in team-oriented environmentCommunicationCustomer-orientedBusiness focusedDependableStrong teamwork skillsResults orientedSense of urgencyCooper Machinery Services is an equal opportunity employer and gives all qualified applicants consideration of employment with
