Account Executive

is responsible for supporting the BTX sales team by identifying new business prospects and selling services to them. They must maintain relationships with current clients and build and maintain relationships with new clients. BTX Global Logistics is looking for candidates in the New Jersey area.Experience in sales and marketing is a huge plus. You must understand the sales and marketing processes and be able to negotiate with clients. You must be able to search out business leads and trending products. Communication skills are also vital to this job.Responsibilities Include:Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunitiesResearch and analyze sales optionsBuild and maintain relationships with clients and prospectsStay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new productsCollect and analyze information and prepare data and sales reportsAttend workshops to learn more technical and professional skills for the jobBuild and maintain professional networksMeet with potential clients to determine their needsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)Summary of Experience and Education:High School degree or equivalent and 5-7 years previous sales experience.Minimum 3 years hands-on sales experience within a Freight Forwarding Environment.Experience in SalesCompetency in EnglishKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of MS Office software and CRM softwareAbility to negotiate and understanding of marketing skillsSelf-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver resultsAbility to create and deliver presentationsFast learner and quick thinkerPassionate about salesAbility to adapt and grow in a competitive environmentAdditional Information:BTX Global Logistics is a global transportation and logistics organization with over 30 regional branches in the U.S. and Canada.
