The AE is responsible for driving new client business within assigned territory and customer base to meet or exceed sales quota.The AE will be responsible for uncovering whitespace opportunities, building relationships across all customer organizations, and educating key stakeholders within customer base. They need to be consistently growing their pipeline and closing new services and technology contracts. The AE will need to collaborate with internal resources to identify solutions and meet customer needs.The ideal candidate is a goal driven and highly motivated self-starter who can quickly learn evolving digital tools and analytics.Duties and ResponsibilitiesGenerate leads for new business for CompuCom by creating demand for products/services with new customers and utilizing a variety of prospecting tools/digital techniques to support demand generation efforts.Convert leads into new clients (new logos) through sales demonstrations and completing customer negotiations. Accountable for the business results including growth, margin, and profitability.Perform cost-benefit/needs analyses, create proposals/solutions (including SOW), etc. to meet the needs of potential external customers (including defining new growth account plans and driving sales pursuits), and close sales. Achieve sales quotas within assigned area.Identify and build relationships/effective partnerships with customers. Design and deliver value-added sales presentations (ie. brackets, 1-1s, power points, etc) to key decision-makers, industry experts, etc. Act as a liaison between customer and the company to resolve issues and close sales.Identify and build relationships/effective partnerships with internal key stakeholders/partners and internal resources (including Consulting, Marketing, Proposal Services, etc.).Maintain CRM (salesforce.com) including ensuring all data is complete/up to date/accurate. Ensure completion of order entry/invoicing/customer processes for all ongoing customer business.Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.6+ years of related experience.Experience working with customer relationship management at multiple levels including VP/CIO.Experience leading teams in a matrixed organization including experience in overseeing multi-delivery.
