This role can be based in Houston, Austin or New Orleans.Responsible for the promotion and sale of the Radiotherapy product line within your respective regionDevelop a creative strategy for closing the sale, addressing all buying influencesCommunicate daily territory activity to Regional Director respectively on all accounts including new buying influences, approved budgets, and closed businessMaintain a complete and consistent market uncovery and customer database using salesforce.com for the respective regionWork with respective Surgery counterparts to develop creative strategy for working with neurosurgeons and addressing all buying influencesMaintain contact with influential contacts at qualified accounts through visits, follow-up letters, phone calls, and brochuresConduct comprehensive product presentations to support the decision processArrange and conduct site visits or in-house visits at BrainlabManage the complete sales cycle (including product presentations/evaluations, closing, negotiating the contracts, configuration adjustments, delivery, installation, and after the sale support)Develop creative strategies for all existing and potential accounts within territoryEstablish and maintain relationships with all contacts at qualified accounts through customer visits, letters, phone calls, attendance at congresses, etc.Prepare necessary documents for tenders (including quotes, letters, answering of technical questions, etc.)Develop regular pattern of contacting customers and stay knowledgeable regarding the status of each account, distributor, and marketLeverage existing client relationships to effectively influence other accounts and promote upgrade businessShare account information with colleagues to stimulate cross-sellingConduct accurate sales forecasts and provide data for annual budget planningDevelop a creative 12-month sales strategy in alignment with Brainlab’s corporate strategyMaintain a high degree of knowledge through continuous self-trainingMaintain a professional and innovative image of Brainlab with customers, competitors, and colleaguesMonitor own costs and propose potential savingsAttend medical shows to identify potential customers and maintain relationships with existing customersCommunicate continuously with distributors and strategic partnersMaintain and further develop a professional, innovative, and sympathy driven image of Brainlab with customers and competitorsQualifications

BA/BS preferred, or equivalent experienceMust be a road warrior, with a willingness and desire to travel consistentlyDocumented success as a top-tier rep in previous sales positions1 - 2 years sales experience in medical or software industry preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation and negotiation skillsSelf-motivated, detail oriented with a proven history in making independent decisionsPrevious experience communicating with surgeons and knowledge of hospital hierarchy and sales cyclesSuperior customer relations proficiency and experience working closely with senior managementProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookHigh comfort level with software and technology, in generalExtensive knowledge and network at C-level with major hospitals and luminaries within the western U.S.Able to work with multiple departments and disciplines within a hospitalProfessional with high integrity, attention to detail, preparation skills and follow-up skillsUnderstanding of economic justification and ROIHigh-level visionarySelf-motivated, detail oriented and a proven history of ability to make independent decisionsGoal orientedAdditional InformationIn return for the experiences listed above we will provide a business casual environment, competitive compensation package including medical, dental, life, LTD, STD, and matching 401k benefits and much more.Brainlab, Inc. is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
