Job Title: MiCAL Crisis Specialist – Frontline Strong
Various Part-Time Shift Available
Base Pay: $18.50 hourly

Day in the Life
Provide support to first respondersLogin to helpline applicationsAccept incoming calls, chats and/or texts of a varying crisis natureProvide information on resources (i.e. homeless shelters, food pantries, mental health services, substance use treatment facilities, etc.)Address callers experiencing crisis and utilize de-escalation techniquesDocument each encounter while in-callCommunicate with the Frontline Strong Manager and other MiCAL staff in order to receive or provide supportMaintain high level confidentiality while performing all dutiesPerform other duties as assignedWhat you need to apply
Permanent year-round Michigan residencyHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentExperience as a First Responder and early-stage events for protection and preservation of life, property, evidence, and/or the environment (law enforcement officer, safety officer, paramedic, EMT, firefighter, etc.)Minimum 1 year experience in mental health, substance use, and/or crisis workAt-home high speed internet on a private networkA private, HIPAA compliant, dedicated office spaceWhat makes us different
