Sporting Goods Department Lead

Bomgaars is seeking to hire a responsible, motivated individual as a Department Lead in the Sporting Goods department. Prefer individual has supervisory experience as well as firearms and sporting goods merchandise knowledge. Position offers an opportunity to provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older

Subject to an applicable background check

ATF compliance knowledge/Administrative skills to handle paperwork and record keeping

General knowledge in the sale of new firearms

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction

Must be available to work flexible schedules – days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)

Responsibilities:

Freight handling/forklift operation

Cashier

Sales

Ensure the Sporting Goods department is clean, organized, and well stocked

Assisting customers with product selection and load outs

Handling phone calls

Other tasks as assigned
