We are hiring for an experienced sales associate who loves working with seniors. Come and join our growing team. Pay is up to $24.00 per hour depending on experience and is eligible for commission.

*This position will report to the Executive Director.

Position Summary

The Sales Associate drives the community’s sales efforts, assists in the design and execution of the marketing plan, reaches occupancy goals, and follows Century Park’s standards in accordance with all laws, regulations and Century Park standards. Reports to the Sales Director.

Qualifications

BS degree preferred or equivalent experienceMinimum of (1) one year successful sales experience with senior living preferredPrimary Job Responsibilities

Administrative and Planning

Ensures leads database is accurate and currentEnsures waitlist is accurate and currentEnsures list of primary and secondary referral sources in local market is accurate and currentEnsures sales reports are accurate and timelyEnsures move in documentation is accurate and timelyTracks new residents to determine where they resided before moving into communityConducts demographic analysis to determine highest concentrations of prospective residents in local marketAssists in planning, developing, executing, driving and evaluating community’s strategic marketing planMaintains compliance with budget in labor and expense control maintaining a written record of expendituresTracks all marketing results (leads generated, tours, etc)Sales and Marketing Focus

Increases overall resident census and achieves specific occupancy targetsCultivates relationships with referral sourcesMeets or exceeds goals (i.e., sales calls, tours conducted, inquiry follow up, move ins)Closes the sale effectively with prospective residents and familiesIncreases awareness of the community and Century Park in the local community at largeParticipates in local marketing events, health fairs, civic organization events, etc.Assists in the planning and hosting of marketing and waitlist eventsDevelops, arranges, and provides benefit oriented tour for inquiriesWorks with Executive Director and other Department Managers to ensure all common areas of the community, models and available apartments are "show ready"Develops and oversees inquiry follow up process to turn leads into residentsMakes calls to waitlist and leads for regular communicationParticipates in conference calls coordinated by support services with other sales associates within region and divisionEnsures that goals established by the Sales Director are metAdditional Requirements

Must have reliable transportation, be willing and able to travel if necessaryMust have excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust have a valid driver’s license in current state with satisfactory driving record per Century Park standardsMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookMust demonstrate outgoing, energetic personality with excellent listening skills and ability to persuade othersMust have expert knowledge in field of practiceMust possess ability to work with little supervision and make independent decisions when circumstances warrantMust understand urgency to build occupancy with ability to gain referrals and build new sources of businessMust have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the sales departmentMust demonstrate effective follow through and follow up with prospective and referral source leadsMust demonstrate excellent customer service and hospitalityMust display effective networking skills, account management skills and ability to build rapport and trust quicklyMust demonstrate effective follow through and follow up with marketing leadsMaintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential informationMust understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance proceduresDisplays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Century Park’s Code of Ethics and completes all required compliance trainingWho We Are
