The Sales Director is responsible for meeting occupancy goals and reinforcing the Community’s brand. Builds meaningful relationships with community business partners, and with prospects and their families. Works with leadership to plan events for prospects and business partners that will create interest and excitement about life at the community. Complies with federal, state, and local standards for community operation. Incorporates Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Compensation:

Base Hourly + Commission

Scope Of Job TasksEvaluate, develop, and implement the community’s sales and marketing plan in partnership with leadershipParticipate in marketing education, ensuring knowledge of resources and competitorsResponsible for Sherpa entry and maintenance of database management system/lead trackingProvide community tours for potential referral sources and patient familiesPartner with, train, supervise and direct workflow of the Sales teamAssess the quality and efficiency of the Sales Associate and provide necessary coachingLead and coordinate all community outreach and community eventsAttend seminars and conferences to promote communityMake sales calls to referral sources, potential residents, and other local resourcesCreate and conduct sales and educational presentations for potential new businessGenerate business by creating new relationships and cultivating current relationships with physicians and other medical professionals, community and senior organizations, appropriate special interest groups, assisted living facilities, and other potential referral sourcesOther duties as assignedEducationBachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing (or related field) is highly desiredExperiencePrevious experience in senior living is highly desiredPrevious supervisory/management experience highly desiredQualificationsCertification in CPR and First AidAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageKnowledgeable of the rules, regulations and guidelines that govern assisted living facilitiesUnderstanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurancesSufficient computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and/or Internet to perform required dutiesPhysical DemandsWorkday - 8 hoursStands - occasionallySits - oftenWalks - occasionally, short distancesBends - occasionallyStairs - occasional, but not requiredClimbs - seldomKneels - seldomLifts - occasionally, up to 25lbsRepetitive hand/foot - seldomSupervisionThis position is responsible for supervising the Sales TeamWorking ConditionsMay be subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, etc.Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduledMust be able to travel to different communities and medical establishments within assigned areaTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
