We adhere to strict standards and purvey wine that is not only delicious but also true to the land through responsible farming practices and sustainability in the vineyard.Position Overview:As an Account Representative at OWC Wine Distribution, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding our account base with a focus on off-premise and chain retail account acquisition. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with accounts, promoting our portfolio of wines, and delivering exceptional service to meet and exceed sales targets.Key Responsibilities:
Work with Sales Manager to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.Identify and pursue new account opportunities to expand our client base.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.Conduct regularly occurring product presentations and tastings to showcase our portfolio of wines.Work with the sales manager to monitor market trends and competitor activities and identify potential opportunities and market needs.Prepare sales reports and forecasts and provide regular updates.Requirements:
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the wine industry.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build a client relationship.Passion for wine and a sound knowledge of wine varietals, regions, and production methods.Results-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.Ability to lift 40 lbs comfortably.Benefits:
