The Facilities Software Administrator is responsible for the overall operation of ARCHIBUS, the District's CAFM system. The position will be the primary interface between users (District Facilities, Campus Facilities, Construction, Vendors, Long Range Planning, and Budget) and the product vendor to assist managers at all levels in capitalizing on the data and the capabilities of the Facility Management System.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in related field.

An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.

Minimum Experience/Training:

Six years of directly related experience in the field of work.

Essential Functions:

Daily - 40%: Responsible for managing the current college space portfolio in the Computer Aided Facilities Management system. Performs space data validation and updates by conducting field audits, assisting with space surveys, and utilizing system tools and reporting.

Daily - 20%: Maintains and updates database of records ensuring accuracy to the Computer Aided Facilities Management system. Perform space attributes and changes to floor plans within the system.

Daily - 10%: Monitors and updates the room usage, room function, and other required facilities data in the database based on established guidelines.

Daily - 10%: Assists in the maintenance of accurate campus building evacuation plans.

Other, as needed - 10%: Provides reports and graphical data to AVP, Facilities Planning & Capital Budgets, and requesting departments.

Other, as needed - 5%: Stay abreast of changing technology by attending required training and conferences.

Other, as needed - 5%: Performs related duties as assigned.

In-depth functional knowledge and expertise in area of specialization and general knowledge of related areas in the College.

Ability to perform complex administrative analysis with limited supervision.

Strong diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent coordination and communication skills used appropriately influence the decision-making of individuals and groups at all levels in the College.

Ability to plan and manage own work flow, priorities, and results accomplishments.

Ability to coordinate large projects involving multiple staff across various disciplines and outside vendors.

Requires the ability to present and disseminate data to various levels.

Requires advanced knowledge of computerized systems and operating environments i.e. Microsoft Office Products and specialized computer systems - AutoCad.

Ability to interact and effectively communicate with a diverse employee and student population.
