Job SummarySupport Georgia Tech's institutional research and decision support efforts. Responsible for the preparation and completion of statistical and written reports, assessment and evaluation of surveys and projects; and high-level analyses of institutional data for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and the Decision Support Group. This position will interact on a regular basis with: Executive Leadership and various departments. This position typically will advise and counsel: Executive Leadership and unit staff.

Responsibilities

Support development, analysis, and maintenance of data to be used for decision-making purposes.

Plan and develop research methods for institutional studies, academic unit benchmarking, student and faculty information, and peer institution comparisons.

Coordinate Georgia Tech's participation in the Association for American Universities (AAU) Data Exchange.

Ad-hoc data and reporting requests.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required QualificationsEducational Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience:

Four to five years of job-related experience.

Preferred QualificationsPreferred Educational Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Statistics, Educational Research, Analytics, Business, or related field.

Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesSkills:

This job requires excellent quantitative and statistical skills, verbal and written communication skills especially with regard to research and policy analysis.
