Job DescriptionWhat you will be doing:Reporting to the Director of Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Team player to enhance the current sales effort by providing administrative support to the departmentIndividual who enjoys generating leads and assisting in converting to sales, consistently makes cold callsAggressively pursue new accounts every week, spending minimal time in the officeMaintain consistent verbal and written communication with clientsMake onsite and field presentations to prospective clients, attend trade shows, and participate in sales blitzesConsistently meet or exceed sales goalsAttend all required briefings/meetings as required by the DOS/GMCollect and analyze relevant and accurate information for better resultsWork effectively with Rooms, Recreation, F&B, and Banquet departmentsParticipate in the local community to develop businessClear, concise written and verbal communication skillsInstill a calm, organized approach in all situationsDemonstrate team-building experienceAbility to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of actionAdhere to company standards and policiesAnalyze financial information to assist in decision-makingPrepare a sales action plan and implement it per the due dates specifiedEnsure proactiveness in planning, executing sales, and action plansDue to the nature of the business, employees may be required to work varying schedules and hours to reflect the business needs of the hotelThe employee may be required and agrees to perform additional duties as required by the volume of business and as assigned by his/her superiors

QualificationsYour experience and skills include:Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferredAt least one (1) year of industry sales experienceFamiliar with Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookPossess good communication, leadership, and organizational skillsHave a good command of the English and Arabic language
