Come join the Neo team and be part of our amazing World Class Culture!NeoGenomics is looking for a Product Manager who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow.Position SummaryThe Product Manager is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to oversee the overall features, strategy, development, and release of a product from conception to launch. The Product Manager drives and improves the business analysis practice while continuing to contribute to strategic initiatives and projects. This role relies on strong problem-solving skills, mentoring team members, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to manage parallel projects of varying priority.Core ResponsibilitiesStrategize in partnership with key stakeholders to define a long-term product roadmap and align team to support this vision.Effectively solution stakeholder requests with a focus on company strategy and objectives.Determine and execute processes needed to ensure product success following delivery to production.Continuously research emerging technologies and trends, identify areas of opportunity and gain buy-in from stakeholders.Manage and prioritize backlog, sprint, and release timeline while monitoring and improving team velocity.Conduct system architecture evaluations and collaborate with project management and IT development team to improve upon current architecture.Evaluate project constraints to find alternatives, alleviate risks, and perform process re-engineering if required.Maintain communication with stakeholders on project statuses – milestones, issues, and roadblocks.Collaborate with development, engineering, and quality assurance teams to prioritize work against clear outcome-oriented goals.Occasional travel may be required.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biology or a related field is preferred.2+ years of experience working in the Healthcare Information Technology and/or 5+ years in a similar function in another industry.Preference for any of the following certifications: PMP, ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, ACC, CFLBA, PBA, CSM, Lean Six Sigma, PSM, PSPO.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.
