Royal Apparel is a family-owned manufacturing company located in Hauppauge, NY.
We are looking for a
Hands on
Leader that can work, organize and manage their team on the Warehouse floor.
This Person must be able to devise a plan on a daily basis to manage, organize, and prioritize all tasks in the warehouse.
We are NOT looking for a Manager that Sits behind a desk and Manages from the Office.
We are looking for someone who can be active, collaborate on the warehouse floor, learn current systems, motivate team members, and make changes to improve business metrics.
Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:
Ability to maintain and manage all aspects of warehouse
Manage 2-4 associates at all times.
Able to plan and coordinate work, train, and motivate associates.
Adjust to meet workflow, cross training staff as needed
Understanding areas including manufacturing, picking, shipping/ receiving, quality assurance (QA).
Work alongside team for the receiving and offloading trucks.
Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory integrity.
Effective communication with all departments
Problem solve and implement techniques/procedures to improve efficiencies. (Write SOPs as needed)
Identify work-flow gaps and implement procedures to address deficiencies.
Promote an environment where safety is paramount.

Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a manager in a warehouse environment
Experience supervising a team.
Forklift (Sit Down) experience or other MHE (Material Handling Equipment) is a
MUST .
Experience with MS Excel is a
MUST
Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) written/verbal is a plus
Experience with training team members
Experience addressing performance issues.
Experience with handheld scanners and computerized WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) system is a MUST.
Must be able to delegate effectively & maintain procedures with team.
Ability to perform & work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task.
Organized, great attention to detail and accurate data entry.
Hands on, willing to roll sleeves up and pitch in with any task necessary.
ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MRP system (Manufacturing Requirements Planning) experience is a Plus!
Must be able to lift 50-75lbs., for example while offloading trucks for 4-5 hrs. per day a few times a week.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
