Join us and we can make a difference together.About this roleThe Director, Aftermarket SIOP serves as the functional lead working closely with the Aftermarket business unit and is responsible for demand forecasting and inventory management.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand BU product roadmap and transitions to ensure NPI and EOL are comprehended in the demand planning.Maintain close working relationship with BU and BU Ops leader to influence outcomes.Manage the S&OP leads and process adherence in each geo region (NA, EMEA, APJC).Work with BU Finance and Sales Leaders to translate financial to unit plan.Drive accountability to SIOP deliverables and outcomes (forecast accuracy WMAPE, OTD, Inventory, cNPS, etc).Collaborate with the leaders within the BU to establish forecast accuracy and inventory targets at the right SKU level.Facilitate and run monthly BU S&OP meetings to drive data-driven forecasts and judged demand (Product Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Pre-ESIOP, ESIOP).Develop an 18 months+ unconstrained forecast tied to the BU growth and working capital goals through BU Demand Planning meeting that also accounts for NPI/EOL and Aftermarket demand.Confirm supportability from a material and capacity perspective for continuity of supply / “clear to build” in support of the BU revenue/growth/margin/inventory objectives through BU Supply Planning meeting.Drive a BU Pre-ESIOP Demand Supply reconciliation meeting to identify gaps in supply coverage and required hedges (+/-). Identify risks and opportunities and financial impacts of the constrained demand plan.Establish new / refresh existing ESIOP meeting and processes (simple and standardized) and KPIs to allow BU to identify risks and opportunities to better respond to market shifts. Tee up key scenarios and decisions for BU executive alignment. Establish monthly consensus demand (18-month rolling) with clear artifacts of decisions.Ensure accurate record and distribution of meeting minutes and consensus decision artifacts.Identify follow-up actions required and assign specific owners and deadlines. Check status with owners throughout the month and continually report status in monthly ESIOP meetings until action is completed.Drive forecast accuracy and inventory levels through the monthly SIOP process to ensure BUs are in line with AOP inventory targets.Coordinate required SIOP/ESIOP prep meetings with relevant teammates and leaders.Present performance metrics and trends to executives in monthly BU ESIOP meeting.Develop and deliver business-critical scenarios to executives in the ESIOP meetings that are fact-based, informed by risks and opportunities, for timely decisions.Work with SIOP COE and SIOP Digital team to standardize processes, adopt best practices and modernize the planning process.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree.10+ years experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Operations, and/or Finance functions.Preferred QualificationsMBA or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Finance.Licenses/Certifications: Certifications such as CPSM, APICS, etc. preferred.Proven success in business process optimization and transformation.Ability to drive change and transformation across different stakeholders.Demonstrated effective project management skills and experience.Strong business acumen specific to Inventory, Revenue, Units, and Margin.Confidence in clearly presenting to executives and large groups.Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience participating in an SIOP process.Experience with inventory and forecast optimization.Experience using and/or implementing advanced tools and systems for planning and inventory management.Advanced capability in Microsoft PowerPoint.Experience running an SIOP process.Experience with $2B–10B+ businesses.#LI-OnsiteCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
