Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)Job Description:Looking for an experienced cloud engineer who will be working on the design and development of a suite of web applications. The individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting Java-based components and interfaces. The position requires a broad understanding of various coding methodologies, testing practices, and tools, and accordingly apply each method to achieve the desired outcomes.
Qualifications:Over 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality technology solutions that use cloud technology to address client business needs.Proven experience in designing and building cloud-native Java-based applications.Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms. Experience working with RESTful Web Services, XML, and JSON.Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.Profound insight into Java and JEE internals.At least 5 years of AWS cloud experience.Proficient in AWS services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, and SQS.Experience in developing and deploying serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.Proven experience with JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, and NoSQL DB, preferably DynamoDB.Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform scripts.Assist with setting up CI/CD pipeline and release management using GitLab code repository and GitLab CI.Certification (optional, but preferred) – AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solution Architect – Associate.
