The incumbent serves as a Realty Specialist providing expertise in real property acquisition, management, and disposal duties in support of the National Airspace System (NAS). The incumbent performs work assignments under the minimal direction of a manager.To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS-12.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience includes:Experience involving acquiring, managing and disposing of real property for the U.S. government;Preparing appraisals, researching real estate transactions to identify comparable properties and otherwise establishing property value;Researching or applying environmental laws and regulations to land management, including real property acquisition, management and disposal;Participation in real property acquisition and lease negotiations;Participation in discussions of controversial issues in potential or actual adversarial situations;Writing or preparing leases and agreements and dealing with issues such as fair market value, environmental impact, and lease versus purchase justification.Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully.
