As the Global Mobility and Immigration Lead at Clearwater, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the seamless movement of our global talent and the immigration requirements and applications for our employees globally. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all immigration compliance for new hires, employees and mobility lead moves. You’ll ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies while delivering an exceptional expatriate experience for our employees, the business and our talent acquisition team.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire global relocation and immigration process, collaborating closely with business leaders and the HRBP’s. Acting as the primary liaison between immigration attorneys, employees, managers and business leaders.

Create, review, and approve immigration support letters, work visa applications, and other relevant documentation.

Drive policy changes as needed in response to in-country immigration changes and business needs, ensuring our policies stay relevant and business strategy focused.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all global mobility and immigration inquiries and resolutions.

Provide detailed immigration support to employees and stakeholders, ensuring that complex immigration issues are addressed in accordance with company policy.

Monitor all ongoing short-term relocations to ensure employees and the business are well informed and prepared for end-of-relocation options and business impacts.

Prepare all secondment/assignment documentation.

Offer consultations to foreign nationals and business stakeholders, addressing any immigration-related questions or concerns.

Manage budget planning and spend, tracking in real-time and forecasting annual immigration expenditures based on current volume and hiring trends.

Collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and Talent Acquisition teams to educate and train on immigration policies and procedures.

Stay informed on immigration regulations and communicate any updates and their implications to HR Business Partners and other internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of US immigration requirements, processes and case lifecycles - both IV and NIV.

Proven experience with global immigration processes, including EMEA and APAC knowledge and experience in international mobility practices.

Experience managing vendor relationships.

Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with employees and business leaders at all levels.

Strong organizational and planning abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
