Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Responsibilities:
Lead the analysis of complex business challenges, using data and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Take ownership of key projects from inception to execution, collaborating with stakeholders to define objectives and devise solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and deliverables.
Utilize programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc., to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc., to convey insights.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
Explore new technologies and best practices to enhance analytical capabilities and drive business outcomes.
Mentor and guide junior analysts to support their professional growth.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing robust governance practices.
Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis and visualization.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Leadership experience with a proven track record of managing projects from start to finish.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment that encourages diversity of thought and accountability.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Certified: Power BI) are a plus.
Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Preferred Experience:
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Certifications in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $50 to $60 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k, and commuter benefits.
