TITLE:
BI Analyst

ANTICIPATED DURATION:

BI Analyst Responsibilities:
Design, develop, implement, and support mission-critical enterprise business intelligence dashboards and reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs.
Use Tableau and SQL to create and maintain reports and dashboards, drawing data from the organization's data warehouse.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through established quality control techniques.
Provide technical assistance and cross-training to other team members and offer support for existing and new dashboards and reports.
Lead training sessions, both web-based and on-site, for end-users on relevant reports and dashboards.
Work independently or as part of a team to ensure timely project delivery, using strong interpersonal communication skills.
BI Analyst Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as accounting, computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, or statistics.
4-6 years of experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards.
Strong expertise with Tableau (4-6 years) and SQL (4-6 years).
Experience in retail or healthcare sectors (4-6 years).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for project-based collaboration.
Ability to manage and adjust to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
BI Analyst Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in a relevant field.
Tableau Desktop Certified Professional certification and SQL certification.
Experience with User Experience Design (UXD) and User Interface Design (UID).
Programming/scripting experience with SQL Server Reporting Services.
Familiarity with data integration issues, validation, and cleaning complex data sets.
Experience with R, Python, or ArcGIS is a plus.
Compensation:
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $40 to $50 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k, and commuter benefits.
