An Associate Project Manager within the Implementation Practice plays a vital role in supporting the project management team in a wide range of project management activities. Their responsibilities include data management within departmental software, monitoring reports, coordinating team communication, and running small projects. The position’s primary objective is to ensure project goals are accomplished within scheduled timelines and budget parameters.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Enters and maintains resource and project projections for the team’s portfolio of work.Reviews project projections, reports, and project data to ensure accuracy.Reviews and approves customer invoices.Collaborates with project managers in organizing and running status meetings with customers.Assists in preparing Project Change Requests (PCRs) for scope or contract changes.Assists project managers to identify, track, and resolve project risks and issues in a timely fashion, escalating when necessary.Coordinates the development of project estimates and provides a detailed breakdown of work.Manages small projects, including initial and ongoing schedule development, resource assignments, schedule adherence, administering PCRs, escalating issues as needed, status meetings, executive reporting and closing projects in accordance with established standards.Other duties as assigned by the project management team.Minimum Qualifications (Education And Experience)
Minimum of an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. Bachelor’s degree a plus.Preferred Qualifications (Education And Experience)
Ideal candidate has 2-3 years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
