Under general direction and oversight performs responsible work in assisting in activating, planning and supervising the field work concerned with the mosquito, rodent, vector, and/or termite control program; and related work as required.

Either:Permanent status as a Pest Control Inspector III or IV with the New Orleans Mosquito Control Board and three (3) years of experience in the areas of mosquito, rodent, vector, or termite control.A Bachelor's degree in a scientific curriculum and one (1) year of experience in the areas mosquito, rodent, vector, or termite control.Note:

Education received from an accredited college or university in a scientific curriculum may be substituted at the rate of 30 semester hours equals one year of experience. Applicants qualifying based on completion of college semester hours must submit their original college diploma or official college transcript to the New Orleans Civil Service Department within two (2) weeks of application.This position requires a one (1) year probationary period.APPLICATIONS:
