The Quality Assurance Analyst's role is to help develop and establish quality assurance standards and procedures for the IT services within the company. This individual will focus on the manual testing efforts for the encryption project, collect and analyze data in support of business alignment, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This will include creating application documentation, test plans, and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in software development, information systems, and operations systems. The Quality Assurance Analyst for the Encryption Project will apply problem-solving skills to validate IT processes through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of business investments. This role will interact with internal clients regularly and have the authority to have input into critical Go/No Go decisions for production deployments.

Key Result Area: Planning:

Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in IT systems and projects across the organization. Verify and revise quality assurance standards as needed.Testing:

Create and execute acceptance test plans and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications.Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.Analyze formal test results to report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.Help create internal application documentation.Create and train clients on User Acceptance testing plans.Create formal user guides for client testing.Monitor and execute test plans.Make recommendations for improvement of applications to programmers and software developers or Analysts.SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies.Experience with query programs (Microsoft SQL Server required), Moderate knowledge of SQL syntax.Basic concepts of Data Encryption.Experience with automated testing tools and reporting software is a plus.Direct hands-on experience with Application Development languages (such as C#, JavaScript, TSQL, VB.NET, HTML, and XML) is a plus.Experience creating documentation using UML models and case diagrams.Ability to analyze critical systems and provide action plans for remediation of bugs and issues.Ability to multi-task a variety of interrelated and disparate applications while balancing the details of testing with the overall scope of a project.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

College diploma or university degree in Engineering or Computer Science.3 years direct experience in quality, software development, or Engineering.Must complete ISO and FCRA certification tests. Must also complete department-specific training certifications and corporate security training.
