ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking an ITIL 4 Business Process, Senior Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate uses their skills and experience to seamlessly integrate practices, processes, and procedures in support of the U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Management Services (IMS) program.

ITIL 4 is an adaptable framework for managing services and helps optimize digital technologies to co-create value with consumers, drive business strategy, and embrace digital transformation. It supports traditional service management activities (e.g., incident management and continual improvement), but can also be aligned to transformative technologies (e.g., Cloud, Automation, and AI) and works seamlessly with DevOps, Lean, and Agile.

Service Integration and Management (SIAM) is a standardized methodology supporting cross-functional, cross-process, and cross-provider integration in a complex sourcing environment. It ensures all parties understand and are empowered to fulfill their role and responsibilities and are held accountable for the outcomes they support.

The ITIL 4 Business Process, Senior Advisor is responsible for establishing, maintaining, integrating, streamlining, and improving ITIL 4 and DESMF edition IV aligned practices to ensure the client organization achieves maximum value from its service providers. Leveraging SIAM, they will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish a streamlined, integrated, and seamless service delivery process where all service providers contribute to the end-to-end service delivery.

The ITIL 4 Business Process, Senior Advisor's primary duties include:

Leads working sessions to establish, streamline, integrate, and maintain seamless ITIL 4 and DESMF edition IV aligned practices, processes, and procedures through extensive collaboration across multiple teams and key customer stakeholders.

Models current and future business processes and requirements using structured tools and techniques, integrates business processes with data system architectural models and requirements.

Defines, collects, analyzes, interprets, and reports end-to-end service delivery key performance indicators (KPIs).

Proactively identifies opportunities to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, integration, and usability of services and end-to-end service delivery practices, processes, and procedures across the organization.

Coordinates and collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., customers, suppliers, partners, service owners, and ITSM practice owners) to identify and drive improvements (i.e., efficiencies, effectiveness, and integration) of services, service delivery, and end-to-end customer experience using ITIL 4, DESMF edition IV, and industry best practices (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma, ISO 9004, ISO 20000-1, and Agile).

Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

Analyzes processes and re-engineering alternatives, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.

Reviews and analyzes performance metrics to identify and recommend improvement opportunities (e.g., lowering costs, reducing cycle time, improving customer service experience, and increasing alignment with business, operational, and compliance requirements).

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:

BS degree and 12 years experience or MS degree and 10 years experience or high school diploma and 16 years experience.

12+ years quality, performance, and process management experience (e.g., consulting, implementation, and continuous improvement).

8+ years documenting and streamlining processes to improve their effectiveness, efficiency, and integration.

Must have demonstrated experience defining, implementing, deploying multiple practices, processes, and procedures via extensive collaboration across multiple teams and key customer stakeholders.

Must have demonstrated experience with key performance indicator (KPI) definition, collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting.

Must have demonstrated experience interfacing with customer senior leadership.

Familiarity with DOD IT security requirements.

U.S. Citizenship required and a Secret security clearance.

Certifications: must hold one or more of the following certs:

ITIL 4 Managing Professional

ITIL 4 Practice Manager (two or more certifications)

Target Salary Range$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
