Project Superintendent

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent for our local operations.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Understanding of plans and owner specificationsSupervision and participation in securing compliance with contract specificationsThe accurate take-off quantities and the determination of material requirements from project plans and specificationsThe preparation of detailed resource requirements from the quantity take-offs and specificationsCoordination of subcontractors on jobs and maintenance of subcontractor progressPreparation and submittal to owners or general contractors of schedules, materials sources, claims, invoices, or any other required paperworkVerification of subcontractor paymentsCollection of accounts receivableAnalyzing of estimates versus as-built costs from job cost systemOther duties as assignedRequirements:Minimum of 5 years of related supervisory experience in Heavy Highway/Road Construction or a directly related field requiredAsphalt Paving Level 1 & 2Preferred Traffic Control Supervisor CertificationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMust be willing to work days, nights or weekends as neededMust be able to complete all required paperwork efficientlyMust be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s licenseEmployer conducts drug screening and background checkWe offer competitive salaries and fringe benefits.
