Sr. Manager, Actuarial Services

The Senior Manager, Actuarial Services is a dynamic role that will lead projects, provide leadership in IBNR, accruals, and settlements, and have a high level of expertise in the use of analytical tools. This role will partner with key stakeholders across medical economics, clinical and client partnership functions. They will have a strong skillset in managing forecast assumptions and interpreting financial results.Roles and Responsibilities

Will be in Nashville, TN or Remote.Lead projects, including IBNR, accruals, and settlements related to value-based contractsUse analytical tools to identify meaningful trend drivers, with linkage to financial resultPartner with key stakeholders across medical economics, clinical and client partnership functions to identify data driven opportunities to add value to existing and potential partnersManage forecast assumptions and interpret financial results, including variances from forecast to help identify product and segment behavior to assist in risk managementDevelop actuarial models to assess viability of new and ongoing initiatives and clinical programsCommunicate analyses and results with external clinical partnersCreate detailed actuarial and financial modelsPosition Requirements

Associate of the Society of Actuaries4-8 years healthcare experienceProficiency in MS Excel for building actuarial models and summarized revenue and claims reportsProficiency in SQLStrong familiarity with R/PythonExperience with value based contracting preferredExperience with Accountable Care Organizations and Direct Contracting Entities preferredAbout Monogram Health
