Job DescriptionDevelop and execute procurement strategies for assigned scope to ensure achievement of Memphis Operations’ short-term goals and strategic objectives in compliance with all codes of conduct and regulatory requirements.
Administer strategies for:
Sourcing
Cost savings/avoidance
Product & service quality
Supplier performance
(each a “Category Strategy”)
Conduct strategic sourcing and supplier management in harmony with the Category Strategy. Build beneficial business relationships with key departments within the MCM organizational structure to ensure pro-active involvement by Procurement Services in planning, executing, and conducting procurement of key products and services from external suppliers.
