We currently operate under three levels of services which include Assets, Brokerage, and Warehousing.Our freight brokerage business is growing rapidly (operating under the well-established Am Trans brand) and looking for experienced brokers to join our team. Work with Carrier Managers to secure best viable options; calling carriers to get additional options when necessary.Act as a key link between the targeted accounts and our sales organization, leveraging multiple outreach mediums (call, email, social) to provide the best service possible. Aid in achieving and exceeding account-level goals by providing support which encourages account growth and success.How You Will Make An ImpactCommunicate with the sales team and customers to build and maintain ongoing relationshipsManage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on timeProvide and negotiate competitive pricing and ratesInput, update, and manage shipment informationCollaborate with the support team to guarantee each shipment is serviced properlyAssist with billing and accounting responsibilities as neededAct as the front-line resource to provide customer service on the assigned account(s)Support the Broker(s) and Account Manager(s) by managing operational tasks.Responsible Owner of all account operations including, but not limited to, load acceptance, appointment setting, coverage coordination, etc.Manage and stay organized through a large volume of daily email and phone requests from brokers and customers.RequirementsYou’re a Great Fit if You:Can persuade, motivate, influence and negotiate with othersThrive under deadlines, drive results, multi-task and work with a sense of urgencyRemain positive and flexible in an ever-changing environment with shifting prioritiesAre detail-oriented with strong prioritization and multi-tasking skillsIn-depth knowledge of the transportation industry, including both the carrier and brokerage departments.Ability to leverage outbound lead campaigns effectively to qualify potential sales prospects.Empathetic to customer needs with the ability to translate those needs into solutions that deliver value.Full-time availability: On-site, Monday- Friday, 8AM - 5PMWould Be Nice (but Not Required)Freight/Brokerage industry experience and/orInside sales experience and/orCustomer Service experienceSalary Description$40,000.00
