F-22 Strategic Mission Planner (Level 3)Looking to fuel your passion and take on an exciting hands-on opportunity to support the world’s preeminent fifth generation air dominance fighter? Join us to thrive as a trusted and critical point of contact for delivering F-22 mission planning success at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. We implement capabilities using an expansive suite of mission planning software and hardware to provide direct sustainment support for our Air Force customers.As an F-22 Strategic Mission Planner, you will integrate and configure the F-22 Mission Support System (MSS) mission planning suite for day-to-day operations. You will:Use your communication skills to work directly with F-22 Pilots, Maintainers, Communications Security, and System Security to accomplish operational mission planning and post-mission debrief support.Use your technical skills to provide collaborative support, assistance, and guidance to the squadron weapons officer in establishing and maintaining F-22 mission data sensor scenarios.Use your troubleshooting skills to resolve anomalies across the mission planning hardware and software suite.In this world-wide deployable position, you will travel to numerous locations around the country and also have opportunities to travel around the world to work with the top F-22 pilots in the U.S. Air Force. You may be required to work odd hours, nights or weekends in support of flying operations but with smart, flexible scheduling you’ll maintain a great quality of life.Basic Qualifications:The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:Minimum 5 years’ total experience in at least one or more of the following disciplines: (Systems Engineering, software engineering, test engineering, pilot, navigator, electronic warfare or military intelligence)Current Top Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 yearsDesired Skills:The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:Prior military aircrew, electronic warfare, or intelligence analyst experienceEngineering or computer science degreeExperience with design or test of 4th or 5th generation avionics/sensorsExperience with Tactical Data LinksExperience with Linux, UNIX, or Solaris operating systemsMission planning experience with aircraft or weapon systemsSecurity+ CertificationCOMSEC/Crypto familiarizationSecurity Clearance Statement:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
