Lockheed MartinThe F-35 Integrated Test Force at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking a Mission Planner to support current mission planning tasking, and to expand the capabilities OMS for F-35 Developmental Test. The selected candidate will:Work with Operations Group and IPTs to develop and review mission plans for every flight test eventBe active member of local OMS team, supporting all parts of the Developmental Test engineering cycle for the Mission Planning Environment and OFP release, such as documenting and driving anomalies to closure via the SPAR process, testing missing planning releases, test SW fixes, and vetting and improving technical data in conjunction with vendor Software and Systems Engineering IPTsAssist in post-mission data processingEstablish relationships and collaboration between United States Government and Contractor entities to ensure Mission Planning Software are released, installed, and testedObtain and handle applicable cryptographic informationReview and update internal and external documentation and instructions to streamline processes and expedite the fielding of effective mission planning softwareContribute technically to engineering efforts (projects, tiger teams, etc.) as assigned by leadershipTravel as required to witness lab testing and support external test or planning eventsA level 2 employee

Typically has 2 - 5 years

of professional experience.Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Basic Qualifications:Minimum 2 years' experience with mission planning software on a tactical aircraft platformExperience handling COMSEC informationB.S. in a STEM field from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent military experienceAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearanceWillingness and ability to work extended hours, odd/off-shifts and weekends as neededDesired Skills:Current Security+ CertificationExperience leading small technical teamsDemonstrated F-35 Mission Planning experience, specifically with MPSE and JMPSExperience supporting Test Plan Working Groups and other Developmental Test planning eventsFamiliarity with the SPAR processSecurity Clearance Statement:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $67,400 - $129,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
