Coordinate the Legislative appropriation process (LRBP) for capital projects across all MSU campuses and MAES.Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of capital projects, building inventory, and related data.Collaborate with university stakeholders, state agencies, and external consultants on long-range planning and project development.Update and maintain physical plant policies, procedures, and web-based reporting systems.Conduct site visits and participate in facilities condition assessments.Prepare project estimates and valuations using industry standards.Establish and maintain a historic preservation project reporting process.Support the University in administering the work of various university committees and leading presentations for committees.Research, write, and edit documents for publication and presentations.Coordinate and manage campus facilities planning, design, and construction standards and guidelines.Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture, public policy, or a related field, plusAt least one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of long-range, capital, and strategic planning concepts.Demonstrated presentation, professional writing, and general communication skills.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage diverse activities.Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, GIS, and web-based interfaces.Preferred Qualifications

Relevant Master’s degree or supplemental education in the field.Additional years of relevant professional experience.Knowledge of capital projects development, and floor plan/drawing interpretation.American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification.Experience working in a university or institutional environment.Experience working in the Montana policy environment.Proficiency with FM Systems, AiM, ArcGIS, and other programs.Other Info
