Basic Function:
Guide, lead, train, and provide support to Material/Bulk Handlers.
Responsibilities:
Perform and maintain all functions and fulfill all responsibilities of a Bulk Handler I and Material Handler II.
Employ strong interpersonal skills when interacting with others in the organization while promoting a positive environment.
Adhere to all G.M.P., GDP, and Safety policies and ensure the Material and Bulk Handler team are also in compliance daily.
Work Saturdays and overtime based on the needs of the business.
Be knowledgeable, cross-trained, and able to support all production areas.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and resolve, or source assistance to resolve, issues within their responsibility.
Requires minimal supervision and proven ability to make decisions.
Navigating the planning schedule on Microsoft Teams.
Monitor and ensure all work areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
Successfully train all Material and Bulk Handlers.
Cover for the Supervisor in their absence.
Lead communication meetings.
Participate in Tier 1 DDS meetings.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma.
Basic computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrated proficiency in company computer systems and equipment pertaining to Bulk/Material Handler position.
Powered industrial lift truck experience – capable of being certified for use on an “as needed basis”.
Minimum of one year in a manufacturing environment and lead role preferred.
Good organization, communication and administrative skills.
Must be able to lift/pull and push.
Must have and maintain an acceptable attendance record.
Basic Mathematics and English skills.
Demonstrated strong safety behavior and record.
