Relationships:Lateral communications with all departments of the Division, other Divisions, and housekeeping and building maintenance duties.Basic Functions:To manage/supervise all aspects of building/grounds maintenance. In charge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), HVAC, electrical, scheduling waste removal (reporting and documentation will be handled by EHS}, utilities, Building Cleaning and pest control program. Controls all aspects of the facility upkeep. Responsible for budget control related to the above.Responsibilities:Maintain policies and procedures to assure compliance with local, County, State and Federal regulations, including strict enforcement of proper waste disposal, conducting in-house audits and troubleshooting on industrial hygiene issues.Management of the following programs:Preventative maintenance program,Express request programUpdating asset list with incoming equipmentMajor facilities changes through change control systemResponsible for approval of all building related purchase ordersPerforms GMP inspections and interfaces with Customers on GMP building issues.Makes and follows up on safety recommendations to ensure they are satisfactorily concluded by working with department heads/managers to solve mutual safety problems.Assists in controls and monitors recycling and waste management programs, including the removal and disposal of hazardous materials, water system, deionized water system and water softener (documentation is performed by EHS).Researches, evaluates and institutes energy management techniques and practices including maintaining currency on any necessary compliance certificates as required.Advises management of cost reduction and profit improvement potentials brought about by new technologies involved with Building/Facilities/Production.Audits utility bills, keeps accurate records and resolves errors; deals with contracts/approvals of power supplies in conjunction with the Department Director.Budgetary

Management

of facilities capital projects as well as facilities expenses.Monitors maintenance of departmental vehicles to ensure they are kept in good repair and meet all applicable regulations.Institutes and monitors training/coaching of employees to maintain regulatory compliance, and to document same.Compiles reports and estimates as required on new or used equipment or vendors related to facility and grounds only.Assists in divisional compliance of all safety, fire, GMP and any other applicable codes or regulations.Coordinates all inter-departmental moves, including furniture allocation, purchases, etc.Responsible for

grounds maintenance

parking lots, outside building beautification, and snow removal.All
