OverviewThe Technician completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.Pay:
$35.00 - 38.00 per hourThe pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.Essential FunctionsResponds to work orders and performs necessary repairs as needed to ensure and maintain a safe occupancy and a high-quality living environment by completing work orders for assigned areas.Assists with grounds maintenance.Performs preventative and routine maintenance on all building equipment.Performs scheduled maintenance inspections as assigned.Purchases supplies as needed avoiding overstocking and ensuring supplies are available on a timely basis with the lowest possible cost.Repairs basic electrical and plumbing devices to ensure all are in good working order.Be environmentally conscientious, i.e. ensuring items disposed are disposable and not recyclable, and report hazardous conditions encountered to your supervisor immediately.Performs other duties as assigned.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalency plus three (3) years experience in building maintenance required; prefer graduate of building maintenance/trade program.HVAC experience required.Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, and building safety regulations.Skills in prioritizing and organizing work requests.Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional to frequent basis.About UsABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world’s largest providers of facility services and solutions.
