The

Supply Chain Supervisor

is a strategic plan-driven manager responsible for performance analysis, solutions implementation, and oversight of dedicated categories within the Supply Chain Department. This individual will work directly with external suppliers, internal project teams, and affiliated entities to provide a variety of solutions for operations requirements. This role will include the management, development, and oversight of multiple direct reports.Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Lead Supplier Relationship Management for key suppliers within applicable categoriesManage a core team of individualsCoordinate complex solutions for custom project requirementsArticulate and execute multiple internal procurement processesOversee consistent evaluation and sourcing of suppliers and productsParticipate in departmental strategic planning and process improvementProvide ad-hoc reporting, analysis and complete special projects as assignedKEY COMPETENCIESEffective Leadership:

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics or related field4-6 years of Supply Chain related experienceCPSM certification preferredOr equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESProficient in MS Office Suite, particularly ExcelAbility to extract, scrub and format raw data exportsAbility to perform high level analysis and create action plans based on resultsEffective interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsAbility to delegate tasksExperience managing direct reportsAbility to work autonomouslyAbility to multitask with strong attention to detailSalary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.For Providence, RI this ranges from $104,500.00 - $143,700.00 plus benefits and retirement program.Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
