We are looking for a
Plant Manager/Director
for our client. Our client is a multinational automotive company. This role will be based in the
United States of America . The ideal candidate should have
Turkish and/or American citizenship , a work permit in the USA, or have experience in the USA before.The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production facility and a team. They should be able to analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes.ResponsibilitiesLeads day-to-day operations and maintains operational efficiency in one of the most technically challenging manufacturing facilities in the USA.Have a good command of automotive spare parts manufacturing processes and technologies.Safely and profitably operate the facility to generate favorable cash flow.Provide plant leadership and direct the plant management team with integration of multiple disciplines and departments; responsible for managing plant P&L, developing manufacturing facility policies, and authorizing their implementation while ensuring product quality and safety.Develop robust strategic talent development and succession planning in alignment with functional growth strategies across the plant; responsible for developing a high-performing team across the plant.Manage one of the plants, coordinating all activities related to plant operational functions, following established policies and in accordance with schedules, quantities, quality, and costs.Analyze production costs and inventory to establish areas for improvement.Ensure adherence to rules and workplace policies.Examine processes and design plans to effectively use available resources.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field.15+ years of experience in the field, with 5+ years of management experience.Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations with strong communication, management, and supervisory skills.Very strong background in lean production; Kaizen, 5S, TPM, TPS, etc.Having start-up experience will be advantageous.Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness, operations management, budget development, and oversight. Outstanding leadership capabilities, ability to communicate a compelling vision and drive results while developing a strong team.Job Title:
