Our US Payroll Product team is looking for a leader with US Payroll and Product Management experience to join us and support our continued success!We are passionate about our product and our people and are looking for a workmate who is excited to join us and will embrace the fun while delivering product for our Customers.About The Role

Workday is looking for an outstanding manager to join the US Payroll Product Management leadership team. You will lead and continually develop product managers to develop world-class features for our US Payroll Customers. Your ability to energize, instill confidence, lead, listen, mentor, and empower are crucial to this role.Your role would be:

Hire, develop, mentor, and support a successful team of product managers.Balance the work responsibilities and priorities of team members.Coordinate release planning and product delivery across multiple related products and teams.Align the product roadmap with the vision and strategic direction for your features in coordination with Product Strategy, Senior Management, and other Product Management manager leaders.Serve as the product area lead for the sales, services, and support organizations.Work closely collaborating on decisions with leadership partners in product development, quality assurance, and documentation.Champion and model Workday values and culture.About You

We are looking for a strong, people-first, proactive leader capable of driving the delivery of our products to continue building a leading Payroll product. Your leadership should promote positive and constructive relationships with customers and Workmates. We want your perspectives and fresh ideas to contribute to our best-in-class payroll solution!Basic Qualifications:

3+ years of experience leading teams or people leadership.5+ years of related experience as a US Payroll Product Manager.5+ years functional domain expertise.3+ years of experience in product roadmaps and release planning.Other Qualifications:

Excellent skills in implementation, organization, time management, written and verbal communication.Consistent track record collaborating with and building positive relationships with individual contributors.Experienced in context switching; easily moving between individual interactions and facilitating conversations with team members, as well as external and internal customers.Functional expertise in the core business process for payroll and related products such as time systems, absence tracking, and human capital management.Shown success working with product teams building user-centric products that customers love.Demonstrated ability to engage across corporate functions (development, services, field readiness, sales, and customer support).Workday Pay Transparency Statement - United States

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
