Service Advisors. Service Advisors are the first and last impression a customer has with a repair facility. They’re the ones who greet customers, listen to the problems a client is having with their vehicle, communicate to the team of automotive technicians on what the problem is, and act as the liaison between the shop and the customer every step of the way.Responsibilities
Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issuesIncrease customer satisfaction by building customer relationsMaintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relationsMonitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequentlyIncrease profitability by maximizing sales & executing retail promotionsOversee technicians working on customers’ vehicles, including their time management/ efficiency, parts ordering, job completion timesOversee and participate in quality controlParticipate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures as appropriateWill occasionally work nights and Saturdays.Qualifications
Automotive service advisor experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver’s license & clean driving recordAccredited training in service advisor skills, customer satisfaction and quality controlAbility to read, write and speak English fluentlyAbility to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptionsMultitasking skillsProficient use of computers/business machines
