I am currently supporting a large Utility in the USA who are looking for a Civil Oversight Field Engineer for a HVDC Converter station construction project.

Scope of Work:
Oversee and coordinate the civil construction activities to ensure alignment and compliance with the jobsite policies, specifications, and all relevant documents.Provide written reports of site activities.When required, participate in investigations to include root cause, engineering, and assist in providing corrective actions.
Qualifications:Solid understanding of Owner, Consultant, and Contractor communication.Ability to coordinate with additional field staff.OSHA 10 certification required with a familiarity of field construction safety.Strong understanding of safety controls, work authorizations that are used by contractors, and material testing and construction inspections.Ability to review cost estimating, construction planning, scheduling, and equipment requirements.Ability to read and understand technical documents, procedures, specifications, and drawings.
