The Administration Manager is responsible for coordinating PBS’s administration system and general workflows. This position requires knowledge of ERP systems and practices within the construction industry. Responsible for the proper training and mentoring of the admin and estimating staff while facilitating communication throughout the company, ultimately developing procedures to make the workplace more efficient. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company and the capability of working in a team environment are necessary for this position.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manages and trains associates assigned to the admin and estimating departments.Identifies opportunities to improve PBS’s policies and objectives.Ensures that PBS is operating securely and effectively.Ensures PO’s and call-offs in BisTrack are complete, correct, and delivered on time.Prepares and reviews operational reports.Leads and participates in meetings.Assists managers of various departments with annual budget information and reports.Delegates special projects as needed.Demonstrates a commitment to the quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement; identifies and responds actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers; participates as a team player in all phases of the organization; and is open and responsive to change.Hiring and training of administrative staff.Other duties as assigned within the scope of the role.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:Experience in residential, multi-family, commercial, and custom framing practices, codes, and carpentry.General computer knowledge.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.Experience with ERP software (BisTrack), estimating software Plan Swift, and MiTek and/or equivalent truss design software.Attention to detail, takes pride in quality of work.Efficient and able to complete assignments within a given deadline.Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.Strategically minded and able to think critically.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Communicates effectively with team members.Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred and at least 10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Why Clayton?
