About the Opportunity:· Job Title:
Pick & Pack Specialist· Pay:
$17/Hour· Location:
Golden Valley, MN· Schedule:
1st Shift, Mon-Fri 9AM-5:30PM unless peak season (Peak Season starts 10/17-12/17 & hours of 7AM-5:30PM) and O/T is optional (Additional Saturday and Sunday shifts available in Nov until Dec 1st).Daily functions:Selects products by SKU and descriptions using a handheld scanner to fulfill orders.Examines all products related to customer orders.Use basic math skills to count, measure, weigh or otherwise verify information and products selected against customers’ orders or other records related to orders.Prepare items for shipping by inspecting for damage, cleaning, and bagging parts if necessary.Pack orders in a safe, neat, and professional manner.Uses order fulfillment software to print shipping labels and affix to customer packaging.Sort packages according to destination and shipping carrier.Must meet daily shipping schedule deadlines.Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established procedures.Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.Other duties and projects as needed.Desired qualifications:High School Diploma or GED/equivalent (Preferred).1 year of order fulfillment, shipping, manufacturing, warehouse, production, or other relevant experience in a fast-paced environment (preferred but not mandatory).Organized, detail-oriented and ability to concentrate on fine detail with interruptions.Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.Thrive in a high-energy, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.Physical requirements:Lifting 30lbs frequently.Standing for long durations of time.Use hands and fingers to pick items.Company Perks:Great Holiday OT opportunity.MINIMAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.Career Growth.3 weeks’ vacation, holidays off, 3 floating holidays.Voted 2023 Best places to work in the pet industry.Professional Development and Promotion Opportunities.Great, supportive people to work with.Cash awards and swag for Core Values awards.40% Employee discount.Safe Environment.Please be informed:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Are you the kind of individual who embodies these qualities?Dependability:
