(Local only).Job Description:The Senior Project Manager will support projects specific to and led by the Chief Technology Officer's group.The IOT CTO group includes Enterprise Architecture, Centralized Application Services, IN.gov, and Strategic Engagement.Types of projects this team member will be expected to support include:Multi-disciplinary projects that span teams with the CTO’s office and other parts of IOTProof of Concept (POC) and pilot projects for emergent technological solutionsTechnical upgrades that are not fully covered by other IOT teamsAnticipated benefits include:Increase speed-to-delivery for projects, with adherence to budget and requirements standardsEnsure that projects have defined goals and expectations and that project deliverables execute to the state goals and expectationsReduce “surprises” by identifying potential risks and issues at an early project stage and continue to refresh throughout project executionIncrease communication, relationships and alignment with IOT internal teams and the occasional external State partnerMaintain constant focus on projects’ visions and objectivesGeneral Responsibilities:Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverablesCollaborate with senior management, stakeholders, and the team to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership & mentorship fostering respect and trust to inspire others to pursue excellence.Review, revise, and implement policies, practices, standards, and tools that support CTO project effortsWork directly with senior managers and staff supporting all facets of IOT’s service deliveryManage staff and teams, as neededRequirements
