FULL TIME EXEMPT

As a CCBHC (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic), Thrive Behavioral Health provides a comprehensive range of high quality mental health and substance use disorder services that are accessible to all members of our community regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

General Summary:

The Access Services Department initiates all new client enrollments for Thrive. This position is responsible for the oversight and operations of Access Services. This includes overseeing and managing the day-to-day functions and staff in the program.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide overall supervision and direction for all Access Services staff to ensure the seamless and timely initiation of referrals.

Provide clinical supervision to Access staff including Assessment Clinicians, Case Managers, Benefit Specialist, and Peer Specialist, covering positions as needed.

Develop, implement, and monitor process improvements to ensure person-centered care in all aspects of the Referral and Assessment Process. This includes: appointment scheduling, client orientation, client benefit eligibility determination/obtainment, IPS support, and access to necessary documentation.

Develop and implement standards, procedures, protocols, and systems; procedures or changes in procedures which relate to the Access Services.

Conduct recruiting, interviewing, screening, training of new Access staff.

Ability to provide Assessment and Case Management services directly.

Support Access staff with accessing triage services as needed.

Develop and implement education and training protocols and standards for Access staff.

Develop relationships with Thrive CCBHC's DCOs (partner organizations) to ensure accurate knowledge of DCO services and seamless referrals between programs.

Use data to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the Access program.

Member of Thrive's Executive Management Team and attends all meetings.

Additional Responsibilities:

Attend all agency/department required training and meetings within the prescribed period.

Attend all Safety Training programs and be able to describe responsibilities related to the general safety, department safety, and specific job-related hazards and responsibilities.

QualificationsEducation, Experience and Competencies:

Master's Degree in Behavioral Health Field.

Can demonstrate experience in clinical management, conducting assessments and program coordination and evaluation.

Strong leadership skills.

SBIRT trained and experience with this evidence-based program, preferred.

Computer literacy skills required; prefer knowledge of MS Office and Echo software.

Certifications, Licenses Requirements

Independent Clinical License required.

Valid driver's license and automobile insurance which meets Rhode Island minimum standards required, or the ability to obtain necessary transportation in order to perform the responsibilities/tasks of the job.
