To quote myriad TNC staffmembers, \"you\'ll join for our mission, and you\'ll stay for ourpeople.\"\WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHERThe ADOD understands and applies complex principles of developing donorstrategies and builds strong relationships with a portfolio of new andcurrent donors and prospects. The ADOD will cultivate donors from annualgiving to major / principal or planned gifts. They will be responsiblefor direct asks in support of Asis Pacific Division priorities to meetfunding needs. They discuss assets proficiently and listen foropportunities for gifts of assets or other non-cash gifts, such asplanned gifts and trade lands. They will incorporate blended gifts andgifts of assets in proposals to donors. They are capable of discussingthe priorities of TNC writ large and in the Asia Pacific region. Theyunderstand organizational budgets and are proficient utilizing thisknowledge to build proposal budgets. They have knowledge of charitablegiving with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and the ability todiscuss complex charitable gift options with donors. TNC is in a silentphase of an ambitious campaign in support of its 2030 Goals. The ADODwill staff leadership as a moves manager as appropriate. They may manageassigned volunteer leader relationships. They will be required to useTNC\'s donor database.Responsibilities Include:\* Managing a portfolio of 40-75 donors, including donors with thecapacity to give gifts over US \$750,000.\* Responsible for 40-75 visits and 120-225 moves annually.\* Accountability for a minimum annual fundraising goal of US\$2,000,000+ once the portfolio is developed.\WE\'RE LOOKING FOR YOUAre you looking for work you can believe in? We\'re looking for someone\with strong experience of engaging donors to fulfill their philanthropicaspirations and raise funds that help achieve transformative outcomes.The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication andcollaboration skills and experience\with fundraising best practices, complex gift strategies, managingrelationships, and adapting to evolving trends in charitable giving.This is an exciting opportunity to make a globally significant impactfor people and nature in Asia Pacific and beyond.\WHAT YOU\'LL BRING* Bachelor\'s degree and 7 years related experience.\* Demonstrated experience in cultivating and ultimately ste arding thedevelopment of a pipeline of new donors.\* Experience in fundraising strategy development focusing onidentification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major andprincipal gift level donors.\* Experience in building donor specific strategies focused onHigh-Net-Worth Individuals and private foundations.\* Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships withconstituents such as major / principal gift level donors, foundationsand corporations.\* Experience in asking for and closing seven figure gifts.\* Experience in managing and tracking multiple prospects and donors.\* Experience working with fundraising principles and practices.\* Experience, coursework, or other training in current and evolvingtrends in charitable giving, particularly in the areas of capitalcampaigns, major / principal gifts and planned giving.\* Fluency in an Asian language.
